Who I Am

I have spent my life in the creative field. I graduated from Frostburg State University (Go BOBCATS!) with a Major in Mass Communication and a double minor in French language and Theater Arts. After college, I moved to Southern California and worked in the music and film industry. In those industries, I gained experience in set design, costuming, visual design, and directing. After meeting my now husband, I moved to DC and worked as as a Montessori teacher, theater teacher, and director. As a director, I was responsible for sets, lighting, costumes, and the overall direction of the production. Fabrics, lighting, color, furniture, period pieces - these are all the main elements of interior design.

I currently live in Washington DC with my husband, two boys, and a cat named Jesse. I sing and play guitar in a 90’s cover band called, “The Threads,” in my spare time. I am also on the hunt for the perfect taco in the DMV.
